I started Crowned in Confidence because I saw how much potential young women around me had, but also how often access to guidance, mentorship, and opportunities could shape what they believed was possible for themselves.

Throughout high school and into college, I found myself having conversations with younger students about college, applications, scholarships, and what life after high school could look like. A lot of the questions were practical, but underneath them were often bigger questions: Am I qualified for this? Where do I even start? Is this something I can actually do?

Those conversations stayed with me. I realized that sometimes what a young woman needs most isn’t someone to give her all the answers. She needs someone who is willing to share what they know, answer the questions she may be afraid to ask, and remind her that she belongs in spaces she may not have pictured herself in before.

That idea became Crowned in Confidence.

I wanted to create something that went beyond college applications or a single workshop. Crowned in Confidence is meant to be a community where young women can find mentors, learn from one another, explore new opportunities, and build confidence through experiences that make their goals feel a little more within reach.

​

To me, confidence doesn’t mean having everything figured out. It means being willing to take the next step even when you’re still figuring things out along the way. My hope is that every young woman who comes through Crowned in Confidence leaves knowing that she has people in her corner, resources she can turn to, and every reason to believe she can pursue what matters to her.
